Contact Docelora

One address, for everything. Bug reports, corrections, privacy questions and anything else.

How to get in touch

Write to info@docelora.com. Docelora is operated under the name Docelora.com, from the United Kingdom. It is the only address for the site, and it is read by the person who runs it.

There is no contact form on this page, and that is deliberate. A form collects information, which means somewhere to store it and something to say about it in the Privacy Policy. An email address collects nothing until you choose to write, which fits a site that otherwise stores nothing about its visitors.

No response time is promised here. Messages are read, and anything that turns out to be a genuine fault is worth reporting even if you do not hear back quickly.

If a tool did not do what you expected

This is the most useful kind of message to receive, and a few details make it far more actionable. Please include:

  • Which tool, and the address of the page you were on.
  • What you uploaded — the format, roughly how large, how many pages, and anything unusual about it (a scan, a form, an export from a particular program).
  • What options you chose, such as the page range or the position you picked.
  • What you expected, and what actually happened.
  • The exact wording of any message the page showed you. The messages are specific on purpose, and the exact text usually identifies the cause immediately.
Please do not attach the document

Not unless you are asked to, and not if it contains anything confidential. Most problems can be diagnosed from a description, and a document sent by email is far more persistent than one uploaded to a tool that deletes it minutes later.

If a file genuinely is needed to reproduce something, you will be asked — and a redacted or example file that shows the same behaviour is always preferred.

Before writing, it may be worth checking

Several of the most common surprises are documented behaviour rather than faults, and each tool page explains its own. The frequent ones:

Where the answer is already written down
What happenedWhere it is explained
A password-protected PDF was refusedAny tool page — encrypted PDFs are refused rather than forced open
Bookmarks disappeared after splitting or reorderingSplit PDF and Organise PDF, under limitations
A PDF made from photographs came out very largeJPG to PDF — PNG photographs are the usual cause
A download link stopped workingResults are cleared after roughly twenty minutes; run the tool again
An image had white space around it on the pageJPG to PDF — images are never stretched to fill a page
A page number landed on top of existing textPage Numbers — nothing is moved to make room

Privacy and data questions

Use the same address: info@docelora.com. The Privacy Policy describes what happens to a file you upload, step by step, and what is never collected.

Because no account exists and uploads are deleted as soon as a job finishes, there is normally nothing held about you by the time a request could arrive. If you believe otherwise, say what you think is held and it will be looked into.

Corrections to these pages

If something on this site is inaccurate — a stated limit that does not match what the tool does, a broken link, a claim that is not true — that is worth reporting, and it will be corrected.

Accuracy is the point of the whole site. A page that overstates what a tool can do is a defect in the same way a crash is.

What this address is not for

  • Recovering a lost file. Nothing is archived. Once a result has been cleared it cannot be retrieved by anyone, including us.
  • Raising limits for one person. The file size, page and rate limits apply to everyone and are not adjustable per visitor.
  • Link exchanges, guest posts and SEO offers. These are not accepted.
  • Requests to remove a document. There is nothing to remove — uploads are deleted when the job finishes and results shortly after.
